Glossary
annotator - a person who annotates documents. gloss - marginal or interlinear notes of a technical or unusual expression in a manuscript text. glossator - a person who glosses documents. illuminator- a person who illuminates or creates designs for documents palimpsest - a parchment or the like from which writing has been partially or completely erased to make room for another text (from the Greek: palimsestos - rubbed again).
